Spain has suffered from recurring droughts for many decades. However, the continuous rise in temperature and longer droughts brought on by climate change are expected to have a far-reaching impact, particularly for the water supply. The solutions to desalinate and produce fresh water are anything but cheap and sustainable. Conventional desalination requires large amounts of energy, which is not only bad for the financials, but also for the environment.

During the America’s Cup 2024 edition in Barcelona, we enabled clean water for the BCN Team Base. By working together with Foundation Zero, we enabled clean water using 70% less electricity & without chemicals, powered only by the sun.
