The value of seawater #WorldWaterDay.

Water means different things to different people at different places. Coming Monday 22 March on World Water Day, it’s all about water’s true value and how we can better protect this vital resource. How is water important to your home, your business, your livelihood, your cultural practices, your wellbeing, your local environment?

Valuing water is at the core of our organization. We know freshwater is only getting scarcer. We realize the key to more water lies in the sea, as 97% of all water available on Earth is saltwater.

Fueled by our mission to solve water scarcity, using only the elements of the sea & sun, we have been developing sustainable desalination solutions since 2012. In this newsletter, we are pleased to update you on several developments that turn salt water into a valuable fresh resource. Cheers to that!

The technology that creates value from the sea & sun.

The Elemental Water Source™ is a plug & play, containerized solution that works off-grid using only solar energy to produce clean water from seawater. By unique Energy Recovery Technology, the system uses 70% less energy than conventional desalination technology, and therefore requires 3x less solar panels. By its plug & play nature, it’s quick to install and easy to maintain. This major breakthrough enables an independent water supply for any coastal location.

Luxury resort Curaçao now values water differently.

Despite COVID-19 impact on business-as-usual, there are several resorts that are keen to invest in operational savings. We recently commissioned a containerized efficient desalination unit for a luxury resort in Curaçao.

Any coastal resort can now get access to an independent water supply at much lower expenses by 3x more efficient desalination technology.

Projects in Mozambique & Spain commissioned.

You don’t have to be a large luxury resort to benefit from the major breakthrough of efficient desalination. Any community, private property, industry, or water user can get access to sustainable technology. Amongst others, we recently provided efficient desalination solutions for an ecolodge in Mozambique as well as an institute in Almeria, Spain.

Our CEO is invited to discuss desalination
on World Water Day.

A multi-stakeholder forum is being organized in conjunction to World Water Day under the theme ‘Water Source Security: Is desalination the way to go?’

By clicking here, you can register and attend the event online free of charge.
The session that features a presentation by our CEO regarding solar desalination is at 11:30am-1:00pm CET time on Monday 22 March.

Let’s value our water & treat it the way it deserves.
