Eco resort using efficient water maker in Australia.

Australia has 8,222 islands – that’s a lot! From Fraser Island and the Whitsundays, to the less known, but just as amazing, islands of Great Keppel and Fitzroy – each island paradise in Australia has its unique beauty.

At the same time, access to fresh water is not a given. Rainwater is seasonal and dry spells are imminent. As the islands are surrounded by clean seawater, our approach to desalination can be a good match. By using 70% less electricity, by totally avoiding the use of chemicals and by minimizing the salt water concentration, it’s the most sustainable approach to desalination. Moving off-grid by solar energy, which means that only the sun and sea are used to get access to fresh water. In our opinion, this is the way to have no footprint and safeguard an eco-friendly experience.

We were looking for a reliable solution with a minimum footprint for our eco-island development. Elemental Water Makers offered us the most attractive package of their extremely efficient desalination system that does not use chemicals. We benefit from a phased approach that can easily be expanded in the future in case our water demand increases. They were flexible during the preparation & installation and remain available for support.
